Chief Afolabi Igbaroola, Majeobaje of Holy Trinity Cathedral Church, Omofe, Ilesa, Chairman of the Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee, member, Ijesa Community Development Assembly (ICDA) and his family on new year day welcomed dignitaries resident and some on holiday in Ilesa, Osun State to their Fadahunsi Avenue, Imo country home in a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the Almighty God for seeing 2025.
In a remarkable display of camaraderie, the Igbaroolas played host to a diverse range of dignitaries.
The event that featured Seyi Comforter, the Tungba maestro at the bandstand saw the prestigious presence of Ijesa Elders Forum's Chairman, Chief Akinwande Akinola Sawe of Ilesa and wife, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Barr. Dosu Babatunde, Osun State Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Kunle Odeyemi, Balogun Ijo of St. John Cathedral Church, Iloro, Hon. Gbenga Onigbogi, Chairman University of Ilesa Governing Council, Prof. Taiwo Asaolu, Vice-clChancellor, UniIlesa ,Bóbagúnwà Remi Oyeyemi and wife, Alagba Wale Idowu and wife, Chief Abiola Falayajo, President,Osun country Club,Mr Ayo Turton and Barr Tunde Ibironke,SAN.
Other dignitaries present at the event were Dr. Obi Daramola,Col (Rtd) Dr. Akin Moses, Engr. Yemi Oguntominiyi, Yeyelua Yemisi Ariyibi, Mr. Faniyi, Alhaja Sherry Sarumi Faloye amongst others.
In his remarks, Chief Afolabi Igbaroola said he deeply appreciated everyone who attended the occasion. He also gave special recognition to his wife, Bunmi and members of his family, including his in-laws, members of the annual Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee and all who contributed to the success of the event.
