Post Ijesa Unity Carnival Visitation: Yemisi Iyanda Hosts Yeyerise, Yeyesogba, Egbe Bobasola (PHOTOS)

Chief Mrs. Yemisi Iyanda, Yeye-oba of Imobi-Ijesa, former President National Organ of Egbe Omo Obokun North America, also Former President of the New York, New Jersey Chapter has played host to High Chief Mrs. Hannah Bolanle Ojo, Yeyerise of Ijesaland, her Women-Chiefs-in-Council known as the "Yeyesogba" and Egbe Bobasola Adimula Ile Ijesa, a group of Ladies from the Diaspora, first to make glamorous appearance at the Iwude Ijesa festival in 2023.

The hostess received the guests with open arms at her Adebayo Abon, Imo, Ilesa country home on Thursday, 9th January, 2025.

In hand to receive the guests apart from the hostess was Lady Dupe Ajayi-Gbadebo , President Ilase-Ijesa National Union, First VP Ijesa Development Council (IDC), a close friend of Chief Mrs Yemisi Iyanda who used the occasion to extoll the virtues of the hostess.

The occasion was used by the Chief Mrs. Hannah Bolanle Ojo Yeyerise and the Yeyesogba to appreciate the Women in Diaspora for their leading role at the 2024 maiden edition of the Ijesa Unity Carnival.

Appeals were made to the Executive Committee members of the group to imbibe the spirit of love and cooperation and most importantly to eschew rancor and discord as they look forward for a better participation at the 2025 edition of the carnival.

Yeyesogba that accompanied Yeyerise High Chief Mrs Bolanle Ojo to the occasion included Yeye Dofin, Chief Mrs Adetutu omoyele, Yeye oba odo, Chief Mrs Adebimpe Elizabeth Olaiya, Yeye Lejoka Chief Mrs Janet Oluremi Ajayi, YeyeLoro Chief Mrs Elizabeth ijabayode, Yeyesegbua Chief Mrs Adesola iyiade, Yeye sapaye Chief Mrs Cecilia Awe Yeye Lookoyi....Chief Mrs Grace Ajewole, Chief Mrs Oluremi Ajayi Yeye Leejoka,

Members of the Egbe Bobasola Adimula led by their Iya Egbe Mrs Bola Lufadeju were Mrs. Funmi Ogundipe, Mrs. Funmilola Ibironke, Olori Onidoka of Idoka, Nrs. Dayo Olanrewaju, Mrs Caroline Orolugbagbe, Mrs. Okamide Idowu, Chief Mrs Dapo Awe and Chief Mrs Olayemi Olagbaju.

Also some members of the hostess family witnessed the reception of the visitors.
