Former Osun State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Adebayo Adeleke, today honored the invitation ot the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, (ICPC) that summoned him for questioning in connection with ongoing investigations into the renovation of Primary Healthcare Centres in the state.
The petition by Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, alleged some infractions against the immediate past administration of Gboyega Oyetola.
The Osun State Government had earlier petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), calling for an investigation into the renovation of Primary Healthcare Centres executed during the administration of former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
The petition Adebayo Adeleke, whose companies were allegedly awarded renovation contracts.
In response to the allegations, Adeleke maintained that he had resigned from the company linked to the contracts long before the projects commenced.
He further alleged that the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke was targeting him for exposing certain infractions committed under its Government.
Taking to his Facebook timeline today, Adebayo Adeleke wrote:
"Today, I honoured the invitation of the ICPC regarding the petitions by Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration. Ati lo, ati de oh. Wait, more revelations are coming!!"
