TRADITIONAL RULERS URGE POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS TO PRIORITIZE THE WELFARE OF THE PEOPLE AS ATAKUMOSA EAST LG APC LEADERSHIP PRESENT REINSTATED LG CHAIRMEN & COUNCILORS (PHOTOS)

Three prominent traditional rulers in Atakumosa East local government area of Osun State have urged political office holders to be committed to the wellbeing of the people to justify the mandate given to them.

This view was expressed by the Ogboni of Ipole-Ijesa, HRM Oba Oyebade Samson Kehinde Oyeleye; Tirimi of Iperindo, HRM Adedeji Olusegun Isaiah and the Awara of Iwara-Ijesa HRM Adeola Adekinle, Ajagungbade I, when the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of Atakumosa East local government paid courtesy visits to their palaces where the reinstated Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and councilors of the Atakumosa East main council and the Atakumosa North East Local Government Development Area (LCDA) were formally presented to the royal fathers.

This visits also provided an opportunity for the APC leadership to express their gratitude for the support the party has been receiving from the royal fathers.

The visitations were attended by notable APC stalwarts, including Alhaji Jamiu Olatoberu APC Chairman Atakumosa East , Elder James Akinwumi Oni, Atakumosa East APC leader, Hon. Ajibola Famurewa former member National House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Kujembola, Osun State APC Treasurer, Princess Foluso Adekoya, Fadare Olusola, Tope Oni, Damilola Ajakaiye, Hon. Abubacar Lukman, all the councillors, women leader Hon. Funmilola Olowe, Hon. Risi Azees, Barr. Ayo Afilaka, Hon. Niyi Ojo, Hon. Lere Raji, Hon. S.I. Olatunbosun, Hon. Tosin Olatunbosun councilor, Hon. Niyi Ojo and  Youth Leader, Kayode Ajewole to mention but a few.

Alhaj Jamiu Olatoberu, the Atakumosa APC Chairman in his presentations explained the importance of the traditional rulers in the scheme of things as they play vital roles in ensuring peace and security and having the right to demand good governance from those in leadership positions.

At Iperindo the headquarter of Atakumosa East LG the Tirimi, HRM Adedeji Olusegun Isaiah and Tirimi-in-Council consisting of the Odole of Iperindo, High Chief Oludare; High Chief Oladunjoye Amos, Looyin of Iperindo; and High Chief Abiodun Abe, Hon. Israel Ajibola Famurewa Famurewa explained in details the judicial process that reinstated the Chairmen and councilors as he presented Hon. Princess Foluso Adekoya, Chairperson of Atakumosa East local council, Hon. Fadare Olusola, Chairperson, Atakumosa North East LCDA, Hon. Tope Oni, Vice Chairman , Atakumosa East LG, Hon.Damilola Ajakaiye, Vice Chairman Atakumosa North East LCDA and all the councillors.

"They will be coming for advice". Hon Ajibola said 

At the palace of the Ogboni of Ipole-Ijesa, after the presentation of the reinstated Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and the Councilors by Hon. Femi Kujembola followed by Elder James Akinwumi Oni's appeal for support and  benediction of the royal father, HRM Oba Oyebade Samson Kehinde Oyeleye did not mince words as he counselled politicians in general to be mindful of the plight of the common constituents who look unto them for a better life.

At the palacious resident of HRM Adeola Adekinle, Ajagungbade I, the Awara of Iwara-Ijesa who was supported by Oba Adeshina Adewole, the Elekure Erinburo, Hon. Femi Kujembola after the presentation called for prayer of the royal father for the management of the local government and his blessing for the reinstated Chairmen Vice Chairmen and councillors.
